Your adventure underground

Children's birthday party in the Velsen adventure mine - celebrate in Saarland with an adventure factor

Celebrate your birthday where real adventures await: In the Velsen adventure mine, you and your friends will experience an exciting journey into the world of miners - with a miner's helmet, train ride and lots to marvel at.

Child-friendly, exciting, safe

Our guided tour specially designed for children makes a visit underground an unforgettable experience. The tour lasts approx. 2 hours including dressing and a train ride, weather permitting.

Then it's time to celebrate

After the tour, you can use our lovingly designed birthday lounge (with play facilities and your own toilet) or our barbecue hut - to eat cake, enjoy drinks or have a barbecue.

Please remember: please bring your own wood and barbecue food, garbage bags and dispose of garbage yourself. Please leave the rooms as you found them.

"If you really want to offer little birthday guests something special, a children's birthday party in the Velsen visitor mine is just the thing. The children get to help out themselves, ride the mine bike, the train and even the conveyor belt - you can't beat that! What's more, the whole team was super friendly and attentive.
