Your Journey Through History and Nature
The discovery tours lead you GPS-supported through the Saarland mining history on exciting routes, past relics and sights. At the stations, former miners and metallurgists tell their experiences, making history come alive.
The route starts and ends at the Experience Mine. It takes you over 12 km past historical places through Geislautern and Ludweiler – from old industrial sites to the Nature Friends House in Warndt.
Afterwards, you can strengthen yourself with Lyoner, cheese, and drinks (please book in advance).
